Project Overview

To build a modern, intelligent storage center integrating both cold and freezer storage functions. The project aims to provide a safe, stable, and efficient temperature-controlled environment for products like food and pharmaceuticals, ensuring product quality, reducing logistics losses, and establishing a regional benchmark for cold chain infrastructure.

Core Design

  1. Zoning Design: Clearly divided into Cold Storage (0~4°C) and Freezer Storage (-18°C~-25°C) to meet the temperature requirements of different goods.

  2. Intelligent Systems: Integrates Warehouse Management, Environmental Monitoring, and Equipment Control systems to achieve operational automation and management visibility.

  3. Energy Efficiency & Sustainability: Utilizes high-efficiency refrigeration units and premium insulation materials, combined with energy management strategies, committed to green and low-carbon operation.

Challenges

  1. Precise and Stable Temperature Control.
  2. High Energy Consumption & Operational Costs.
  3. Uniform Internal Environment.
  4. Intelligent Management & Traceability.
  5. Condensation/Frost & Structural Protection.

Challenges

  1. Configure dedicated refrigeration systems for different temperature zones, employing redundant design (primary & backup units) and emergency power to ensure 7×24 temperature stability within a minimal fluctuation range.
  2. Select high-efficiency inverter-driven refrigeration units, apply premium insulated panels, and utilize an intelligent system to optimize equipment cycling and defrost strategies for comprehensive energy savings.
  3. Ensure uniform temperature throughout all areas and eliminate local hot spots or freezing via precise airflow design (e.g., high static pressure air units, rational air ducts).
  4. Deploy a WMS and an environmental monitoring platform for real-time visibility of inventory and temperature/humidity data, enabling full-process traceability and strict FIFO enforcement.
  5. Apply anti-condensation design (e.g., electric heating tapes) in cold storage. Optimize auto-defrost functionality in freezer storage and reinforce floor anti-frost heave design to protect the building structure.
